The first number is the number of dice, the second is added to the total – e.g., 3+4 is 3 dice plus 4, or 3d+4 in modern notation (see d below). #+#, d+a, or dice+adds - Dice roll notation convention used in several older games. The final decision as to any and all terms and definitions rests with the person currently maintaining the glossary.
